Anua launches first Concrete Wastewater Treatment system, Platinum concrete
Anua has launched our first concrete wastewater treatment, Platinum Concrete. Designed and manufactured specifically for Irish residential sewage treatment, Platinum Concrete combines the convenience and strength of concrete with the versatility and treatment capability of submerged aerated filtration.
The unit consists of two separate concrete tanks to allow for ease of maneuverability and installation. Each of the tanks weighs just 2 tonnes. They can be delivered to the site and installed at any time – no specialist machinery is needed. The Platinum design offers best in class performance and low running costs, delivering real value for money in comparison with other concrete systems.

How Platinum Concrete works
Platinum is an advanced sustainable technology for the treatment of wastewater in domestic homes. Naturally occurring micro-organisms present in the sewage remove the biological (organic) content which causes water pollution. Our system provides the conditions for these micro-organisms (biofilm) to grow, providing highly efficient treatment to achieve a high standard final effuent quality.
